Shawn Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter Are Reportedly Dating and the Internet Is Absolutely Shook

Shawn Mendes, a Canadian singer, was allegedly spotted with Sabrina Carpenter, according to AS, and the news is sparking hilarious memes online, Mendes was previously in a long-term relationship with singer Camila Cabello. The couple began dating in the summer of 2019 but announced their breakup on Instagram in November 2021. Meanwhile, Carpenter previously sparked romance rumors with Joshua Bassett. However, neither of them acknowledged it publicly.

A witness reportedly told DeuxMoi—the popular Instagram account that collects and dishes out celebrity gossip from its followers—on February 19, 2023, that the 24-year-old star and Carpenter were "clearly on a date" at Horses on Thursday, February 16.

The Because I Liked a Boy singer is said to have been dressed in a brown mini skirt while the I Know What You Did Last Summer singer sported a shaved head and a white sweater. They appeared to be very comfortable with each other, the informed claimed.

This is not the first time Mendes has been spotted on a date since his split from Cabello. The Stitches singer was linked to celebrity chiropractor Jocelyne Miranda after the two were spotted lunching out together in November 2022. Mendes and Miranda were later seen at Mendes' West Hollywood home and at a farmer's market in West Hollywood. 

Twitter users didn't hold themselves back while reacting hilariously to the news that Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter were spotted on an alleged date. A Twitter user shared a picture featuring both Cabello and Carpenter and captioned it with the lyrics of Olivia Rodrigo's song Drivers License. Rodrigo wrote this song in response to Carpenter's relationship with Joshua Bassett.
