Ah… Linsanity. Who remembers Linsanity? Or maybe a better question would be… who could forget? Believe it or not, this week marks the 9th anniversary of Jeremy Lin’s remarkable, improbable, and downright spectacular run of games that’d be dubbed Linsanity, and Twitter is celebrating in a major way.
For Those Who Need A Refresher Course, HERE’S What Linsanity Was All About!
On Feb. 6, 2012, Lin joined the Knicks starting lineup and over the next two weeks, he led the awful New York squad Knicks to six straight wins. Over the entire seven-game win streak, he averaged 24.4 points, 9.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game, hitting better than 50 percent from the field. Damn!!!!
Additionally, There Was That Time He Went Toe-To-Toe With Kobe…
Yep, it was pretty damn kick ass… And THAT’S why Twitter is breaking it all down, once again!
Two legends. Playing basketball. Together. Toe-to-toe. Rubber squeaks all up and down the wood. Sweat glistening. Reputations on the line. Lin. Kobe. Going at it. Giving it their best. Not leaving anything on the field. We. Love. It.
First, There Was Jeremy Lin Himself Tweeting This:
And Twitter Wasted No Time In Adding Their Own Memories!
Yep… In conclusion, it’s pretty safe to say, no two weeks will ever, ever top what we saw back in 2012, when Jeremy Lin was absolutely crushing it. Nothing!!! Thank you! Goodbye.
