"I noticed it right away and was thinking the worst," said her Mum.
Kids sure know how to crack us up. They never cease to amaze us with their surprise acts, and the internet is now obsessed with this 7-year-old girl's drawing for her parents on Valentine's Day. Melissa Czinner's little girl drew a lovey-dovey Valentine's card for her parents, but it came with an unexpected twist. It all started when the internet spotted a 'serious' issue in her drawing shared by Czinner on her TikTok account. The 7-year-old Henley who lives in Jackson, Wisconsin, created a dedicated artwork for the day of love. The photo featured a drawing of a woman taking a dog for a walk, and the text read, "To Mom and Dad, love you so much."
Henley's mother, Melissa, quickly noticed the weird thing appearing from the woman's yellow pants in the drawing. The odd-looking feature raised questions, and Melissa shared with TODAY, "I noticed it right away and was thinking the worst." She asked her daughter what exactly that thing is. And her daughter explained the brown-color detail on the drawing: "It was just a dog treat in the girl's pocket." A treat for sure! What did you think it was? After all, it's a treat for a dog.
Czinner is not active on social media. She mostly refrains from posting but this particular moment broke that, and she could not resist the drawing's hilarious twist. She captioned the video, "Just a dog treat in a pocket."
The funny video racked up more than 175,000 views in no time. And Czinner was shocked to see the response on it. "At first, there were just a few views and comments," she says. "Over the last few days, it exploded." People on the internet had some serious reactions to the video. A TikTok user, @Surly Girlie, wrote, "That is a decent-sized treat. Surprised it fit in the pocket," Another user, @Mary Ellison, said, "The amount of time it took me to figure out what the pocket was, LOL." Kids are surprisingly hysterical, and a user agreed. @avogrand21 said, "Kids are hilarious." One TikTok user, @neurotic_empath, cracked the suspense of what the treat was and commented, "It's a dog bone in her pocket."
Well, the girl's got a wild imagination.
Talking about the drawing, Henley's mother told TODAY that the Valentine's Day artwork is proudly displayed. She shared, "We have hung this masterpiece on the fridge for now. But it will go into her childhood bin where we keep things for her."
Henley's drawing is not the only one to get people's attention. A Michigan mom went viral earlier this month. Her daughter drew a pig wearing a bow tie. It sounds all cutesy, but her school administrators read something else in her artwork and said it depicted something else.
The 11-year-old's innocent drawing was deemed inappropriate by her art teacher. Sierra Carter, mother to the fifth-grader made it clear that her daughter drew a bow tie, but the school authorities insisted otherwise. The "inappropriate" artwork was then confiscated. Poor kid. But Carter received immense support from her online audience.
