Sylvester Stallone might be one of the most renowned superstars in Hollywood but at the end of the day, he is just like any other protective father to his grown-up daughters. In a recent appearance on a podcast called Giggly Squad, hosted by Hannah Berner and Paige DeSobro, Stallone’s two oldest daughters, Sistine and Sophia revealed that their famous father is always the man behind writing their “breakup texts.” The 26 and 24-year-olds spoke candidly about their father's protective nature.

Their remarks follow after the premiere of The Family Stallone, their new reality series which stars their mother Jennifer Flavin along with their father and younger sister Scarlett Stallone, 20. The sisters said that the Rocky star has composed texts for them to send to ex-partners when they decided to put an end to their relationships. Well, he seems to be quite actively and intimately involved in the romantic lives of his daughters.

“My dad is a savant when it comes to our dating lives, in many areas,” Sistine explained. “In one area, he writes most of our breakup texts.” Sophia chimed in and suggested  this dating habit to other women, adding: “I highly suggest that girls should go up to their dad and have their dad write a breakup text because men know men.” Sistine also remarked that those breakup texts never cause their ex-partners to "get mad at them for being honest”.

The sisters also admitted that their dad isn’t the friendliest person when meeting the men they are dating. “We’re like, ‘Oh, this is a good egg. We’re gonna bring him home,’” Sistine said. “And he’s always standoffish, stands in the corner, doesn’t say anything.” Sophia joked that their father always appears with a cigar while they attempt to introduce the boys they are dating to their father. Sistine believes that there is a reason behind it.

“I go, ‘Why do you do that?’ And he goes, ‘I can tell within the first four minutes of meeting him if he’s going to last or not and so I’m not going to waste my time,’” she elaborated in the podcast. “And he’s right every time.” But thankfully, Stallone gets along with their younger sister Scarlet's boyfriend. “He only likes my sister’s boyfriend,” Sophia said. “He’s kind of got the thing with the watches and he likes polo…If you can relate to things with him, he’ll like you.”

The Stallone girls have spoken about dating while having a famous father earlier as well. According to The Independent, Sistine revealed why it is a tad difficult to date with her father around. “He’s quite intimidating to most and most of the time when they come over to meet the parents, they don’t necessarily return, simply because he’s just so scary,” she said, per the outlet. Further in an interview with TODAY, the 76-year-old veteran actor explained why he has reservations about meeting his daughter’s dates. “I don’t trust their intentions,” he said. “Because I know men.”

Stallone is also father to a 44-year-old son named Seargeoh, whom he shares with ex-wife Sasha Czack. The former couple’s eldest son, Sage died from a heart attack at age 36 in 2012. Well, it seems most fathers with grown-up daughters can relate to Stallone as fathers are extra careful about their daughters and who they go out with.
