Tennessee Titans’ Unique 2023 NFL Schedule Release Proves Some People Know Next to Nothing About Professional Football

The Tennessee Titans have taken a different approach to announcing their NFL schedule, foregoing the typical celebrity or player-led video in favor of asking random people on the street to identify the teams they will be playing based on their logos. As reported by HuffPost, the resulting video is both hilarious and illuminating as it reveals just how little some people know about professional football. The video which can be found on the Titans' Twitter page shows several individuals struggling to identify the teams the Titans will be playing in the upcoming season. Some people were able to correctly identify a few of the logos while others were totally clueless and guessed wildly. One person even mistook the Tampa Bay Buccaneers logo for a "Pirate Ship" while another guessed that the Titans would be playing against the "Cleveland Mountains."

It appears that the Titans were inspired by viral TikTok videos created by social media personality, Joe Mele. In his videos, Mele asks his dad to identify NFL teams based on their logos and the results are similarly hilarious. The Titans' video is a clever twist on this concept and provides a unique way to announce their upcoming schedule.
But the team also released a more traditional schedule release video, complete with cameos from country music icon Keith Urban, professional wrestler Sheamus and comic Nate Bargatze. This video is what we have come to expect from NFL teams with high-profile celebrities adding to the excitement and hype surrounding the upcoming season.
