Some social media users have noticed a particular episode of the popular cartoon where they predicted the former president and Greta Gerwig’s film in the same episode.

A Twitter user @tea_shru wrote along with a clip of The Simpsons episode attached to the tweet: "The Simpsons getting their predictions right yet again! Barbie and Donald Trump BOTH!" As bizarre as all of it sounds and looks, this popular cartoon’s prophetic vision has been strangely accurate about numerous incidents so far.

According to New York Post, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records on April 4 which marked the first-ever instance of a former president being indicted. In one of the widely circulated clips on social media, we can see the yellow-tinted Simpsons family watching a TV program where anchor Kent Brockman addresses Lisa’s campaign and also abruptly announces that the president has been arrested by the end of the new program "Though it was unusual to spend 28 minutes reporting on a doll, this reporter found it impossible to stop talking," the broadcaster deadpans while reading the news. In 2019, Barbie’s parent company Mattel also brought a gender-neutral Barbie to the market which somehow made the prediction from the show legit. Greta Gerwig’s 2023 film is expected to bring forth a self-aware twist to the legend of the famous doll, just like Lisa Simpson wanted.
