Oh, come on man! Could have got the cover right at least.
No one ever accused the Trumps of being avid readers or prolific writers and yet they continue to write books. And not only do they write those books, but many have also claimed that they pay their own people to buy them as well. Needless to say, their books come with the tag 'bestselling' already on the cover. And yet, if you insist on projecting an image that tells people you are a thinker and a writer, you may as well pay a few decent copyrighters to get the cover right. Donald Trump Jr., it seems, didn't give a damn and the cover, as a result, has at least 2 glaring grammatical mistakes.
See if you can spot them:
First let's see what people have to say:
As someone who writes books, I will tell you that it’s pretty hard to slip two different errors onto the cover of a book, but if you are truly an idiot, anything is possible in America. pic.twitter.com/GcXLBU40FC— Anand Giridharadas (@AnandWrites) July 11, 2020
I am originally from the Midwest (of America), and I can tell you many people from Midwestern swing states take punctuation seriously. November could be a landslide.— Anand Giridharadas (@AnandWrites) July 11, 2020
As someone who edits books, I can't help wondering if the editor was perhaps an undercover member of the Resistance...— janegray (@ms_sharims) July 11, 2020
If you are not a grammar nazi and couldn't find the mistake, don't worry, we have it sorted for you. The first error is that 'best selling' is either written as a single word 'bestselling' or with a hyphen in between, 'best-selling.' It is never two words.

The second mistake is in the word 'Democrat's' where the apostrophe is in the wrong place. It should have been Democrats' as Democrat's implies something owned by one democrat. And there is one more error that could be allowed to slide due (artistic liberty and all) is the contradiction in terms of 'defense of the indefensible.' The point, however, is that for a number 1 best selling author, such mistakes on the cover itself may be quite unbecoming.
