Internet in Splits As Woman Discovers 500 Pounds of Cooked Pasta Near a River Basin

You can be prepared for a lot of things when embarking on a wild hike, but the last thing that'll come to your mind is stumbling upon heaps of pasta in the woods! Sounds bizarre right? Hell yes! However, we have been living in a world where oftentimes reality is bizarre! Nina Jochnowitz, who is currently running city council in the town of 66,000 people took to a private Facebook group to post images of piles of pasta near a river basin in Old Bridge, New Jersey where hundreds of pounds of cooked pasta were dumped. In her post, she thanked the public works department for cleaning up the estimated 500-pound real mess.

Either way, this is pasta point of no return.
She also criticized the mayor for ignoring the entire situation. Jochnowitz is also running on a platform of cleaning up the waterways and environment in the town and also plans to work on improving waste and recycling services with new initiatives like bulk pickup, as per CBS. "The Mayor and his (posse) continue to ignore the Sixth Ward. No surprise when we see the dumping of construction and other garbage spewed in all of the neighborhoods," she wrote in the post. "This week, there was a new type of dumping, of excessive food, PASTA." Jochnowitz reportedly said that the person who dumped the food waste has a history of mental illness and there's no motive, per CBS New York.
