It's all fun and games until your wild night out ends up with you being stuck in a trash can and people are filming you.
It’s the middle of February and party lovers are still treating it like a continuation of a New Year’s Eve bash. If you skim through the internet, you might stumble upon several pictures of celebrities, influencers, and commoners partying all over the world, especially during the weekends. Sometimes we even discover them in weird and embarrassing footage. One woman from Australia partied so hard that she somehow got stuck upside down in a trash bin, per Daily Mail. The unidentified woman also had the misfortune of getting filmed in a compromising position and the video is also doing the rounds on social media. Oops.
We might not know how much alcohol was responsible for causing this misery, but we do know that the incident occurred in Surfer’s Paradise. The area located on Queensland’s Gold Coast is known for its wild partygoers. This is why such scenarios might be less than surprising for the locals.
The party girl had somehow managed to drop her phone in the bin and in order to retrieve it, she dived in headfirst without thinking twice. Some of us can totally understand her actions because alcohol or not, we would have dived if our precious phones fell as well. There is a saying which goes "if there is a will, there is a way," but it seems, the woman had absolutely no way out of getting out of the bin though she willed it. A passerby recorded her dangling legs. A concerned friend stood by her side, helplessly looking at the whole spectacle.
In the video, the said friend can be heard saying, "No wait, did you find it or not?" while another person recording the video questions, "What the hell is going on here?"
It’s a complex situation for the spectators as well. We feel pity for the woman but at the same time, feel bad for laughing at the comical situation. One person commented: "I did something similar in the Brisbane CBD dropping my keys in the bin. I was very lucky though cause the thing was unlocked at the side. The poor girl would be in an awful situation she's in." Another one wrote: "When you realize there was one chicken nugget left in the bag*"
We sincerely hope the poor woman has not made a permanent residence in the bin while looking for her phone.
