Remember to take your smartphone when you are going to the rooftop. If you ever get stuck there, you can shoot a video and order Uber Eats because the online food and delivery platform is also doing rescue work these days. A video that raked 7.3 million views on TikTok is giving emergency services a run for their business.

A woman named Maggie @voss_maggie on TikTok shared a video on her profile with the caption, "5 stars and a good tip for Jeffrey, the best uber eats delivery in Manhattan." She's seen ordering from Uber Eats instead of calling in for the emergency to let her out from the terrace. What a brilliant idea! We have heard that food can solve half of our problems but the viral video confirmed it. Voss found a rather mouth-watering idea to get out of the situation when she was locked on her building's rooftop—she called Uber Eats. The online food company's delivery man followed her instructions and unlocked her from the terrace. Woah! So now you know! If you find yourself in the same circumstance, the food delivery guy is just a call away.

But why did she get up there? Voss was just chilling on her building's terrace as she often prefers to be out in the open air. Then, she realized she got locked out. The matter got grave when she couldn't find anyone to help her. But she kept her cool and acted rather brilliantly. She said in the video, "So I ordered Uber Eats. I put in the instructions that you have to just buzz every apartment until someone lets you in and then come up to the roof and let me out." The video then showed an Uber Eats delivery man opening the roof door and she referred to him as "My King" in the video text inlay. The woman's presence of mind treated her with a delicious treat and she was soon safely back in her apartment. The video text inlay read, "Safe in my apartment plus, I have a burrito now. I call that a win."

Netizens were thrilled with her ingenious way of being rescued. A TikTok user, @milliemyk, wrote, "This is just next-level thinking. Brilliant!" Another user, @mrpapadorgio, commented, "Improvise, adapt, and overcome. Modern problems, modern solutions." @jazzyphae shared his story, "Went out for drinks after work (papa John) one-night n got too effed up to drive home, so I ordered pizza to my house and just rode with one of my drivers." LOL, people these days are so creative. We agree with one comment by @Kelsey Riley in which she said, "The definition of work smarter, not harder." @Roya wrote, "We love a resourceful queen."

Voss is a six times marathoner and she suffered a hip injury. Hence, we see the crutches in the background. She shared her healing journey on TikTok and that day when she got locked, she was still on the crutch support. But the braveheart was back on the rooftop hardly five days later and captioned the video, "Promise I won't get locked out this time."
