A woman in Atlanta was out on the run when she had a narrow escape with active shooting nearby because of noise cancellation AirPods and her phone was on 'Do Not Disturb.' She posted the video of her all smiles throughout the video. The woman like many of her followers couldn't help but see the funny side of it.

Christina [the woman], under the username @movementwithtina is a certified fitness and personal trainer. She shared the video with a text overlay, "POV: your AirPods are noise-canceling and your phone is on DND, so you don't realize you just ran through an active shooting." The video looked random and showed Christina out on the run through a residential street. She jogged unconcerned about the loud sirens wailing in the background and kept giving thumbs up and smiles to the camera. She added the caption, "The sirens in the back and my blissful unawareness is sending me. But, for real, this was actually really intense and I am so sorry for those injured and everyone impacted." This could have been worse but glad the woman escaped safe and sound.

Christina posted the video on May 4, 2023, and her video gained over 5.9 million views and 1.1 million likes along with hundreds of comments. Surprisingly, this was the same day and time when Atlanta police were on a pursuit of suspected gunman Deion Patterson.

The Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Charles Hampton informed that the 24-year-old shooter apparently fatally shot a 38-year-old woman near Northside Medical Midtown just before noon and wounded four other people. Patterson (the criminal) escaped the medical center on foot. Then he suddenly boarded an unattended pickup truck while cameras picked up the vehicle's tag number in Cobb County 20 minutes later. However, eventually, the cops hunted the gunman inside a gated condo complex just over 10 miles north of where the shooting happened. Woah! What a menace! Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens recounted the incident as a "horrible act of gun violence." He added, "We need more actions (for) the rights of our citizens to go about their lives, to be able to go to a doctor's office, to a supermarket, to a gas station or their school without the threat of being gunned down."

About Christina's heedlessness, she answered a TikTok user's comment in a subsequent video who wrote, "I'm sorry, but AirPods noise cancellation is not that good, lol." She explained how it still feels unbelievable and crazy to speak about it. The fitness freak said, "Basically, I live in midtown Atlanta and I went on a 5k run. I went my usual route and put my phone on Do Not Disturb. I always do that when I go on my daily run." She continued, "I had my AirPods on noise canceling because I was running through residential streets and there are always lots of people out there and I never had any issues on those streets."

"So I ran past caution tape, a bunch of cops, ambulances, all this kind of stuff – swarms of people outside," added Christina. For her, such scenes are a part of her daily routine in Atlanta, so she assumed the caution tape was part of some construction work. She recalled, "So I kept running. Then once I realized more cops were going down the residential streets, clearly they were looking for the shooter. That's when I started thinking something was up." Her boyfriend also tried to contact her multiple times and texted, "Hey, it's on your route- please answer." Christina eventually took a different route and reached back home safely.
