How the woman exacted her revenge will give anyone who has cheated or even thought of cheating on their partner the chills.
Breaking up with a long-term partner can be difficult and painful. If the reason for separation is infidelity, then it gets uglier. Seeking revenge might be a natural reaction by the wronged partner and a successful act of revenge could even turn the partner who cheated into a laughing stock. Reddit user u/OddFiction shared her vengeful story with the r/pettyrevenge forum in a post titled: "My ex cheated with a married woman, so I turned a pic of them into an ad."
After five years of being together, the Reddit user and her partner (Joe) had a tough period of dealing with cervical cancer followed by COVID-19 and complications. Thereafter, she thought of seeking couple counseling but she was the only one who went. Eventually, he was caught cheating. "The counselor kept suggesting we talk and do things together. He'd go and do these things with this coworker couple. Eventually, he started just hanging out with the wife (Karen), not the husband (Patrick), and it didn't take long for me to catch on that there was cheating, so I left and moved out," she wrote, per a Mirror report.
She went on to explain how she caught them and how she thought of seeking revenge. "I worked at a gym, and Joe and Karen would go work out together regularly. I snapped a picture of them while they were there showing a little PDA. When people sign up at our gym, they sign a waiver stating that we can snap pics of them on the gym floor for our social media platforms. So, I posted it, shared it for Valentine's Day for our couples special, and made it an ad to run locally." Patrick saw the advertisement and it made him so angry that he not only showed his wrath to Joe but also separated from Karen.
This was followed by a turn of unfortunate events for Joe. "So, now Joe is panicking because his boss is angry that the whole situation is happening and they're losing 2 staff members. His boss also happens to be his landlord. On top of that, Joe didn't want to be in a relationship, much less live with anyone, so he made Karen get her stuff and try to find a place to stay. Joe texted me and asked if I would let her stay in my spare bedroom (he never realized that I'd put the ad up), and of course, I just left him on read."
"I don't know exactly what happened after that, except that Karen moved back in with Patrick again for a bit, then to Joe's house, and apparently brought her 20-year-old daughter with her to his house to live with them," the poster explained. The readers were in praise and definitely had a good laugh knowing someone out there taught a man the lesson he deserved. "That was actually nuclear revenge," wrote u/Catacombs3. "Karma didn‘t need to do anything, you already did the job perfectly!" commented u/MisterBroda. "Way to go OP!!! And sorry for your health problems I hope you have a great recovery and you find a wonderful man that deserves you," added u/Dontplaythatish.
