Woman Leaves People Bewildered By Lashing Out at a UPS Store Employee And Is Being Dubbed a “Karen”

The internet has given rise to many new terms including the infamous "Karen" which is used to describe a person, typically a woman, who is entitled, rude and often demands to speak with the manager. In recent years, there have been countless viral videos of "Karen" incidents, and a new one has surfaced of a woman at a UPS store. The video in question shows an employee at the UPS store asking a woman to leave. The woman refuses and starts a rant, declaring that she follows the Ten Commandments, and that her sister is a serial killer. The confrontation lasts nearly two minutes, with the woman demanding that the police be called, and accusing the employee of discriminating against an innocent woman. She also makes the disturbing remark that a string of serial killers will come after the worker.

As reported by The Daily Dot, the video has caused a stir on social media, with many viewers labeling the woman a "Karen", based solely on her behavior in the video. It's unclear what led to the confrontation but the woman's behavior in the video speaks for itself.

The term "Karen" has sparked debates about gender and racial biases as it's often associated with entitled white women. Some argue that the term is sexist and unfairly targets women, while others argue that it's a valid term for behavior that is predominantly exhibited by women. "I own a small business and it’s incumbent upon me to provide for my customers. Yelling angrily at customers is bad business. I would probably fire her because there is no evidence she tried to help," says @OutfieldDan.
@__tmurray, commented "Imagine if actually marginalized people back in the 50’s had the ability to record this. Emmett blinked at a white woman. Record everything." "I want to know why people think it is ok to be rude to someone providing services?" commented, @suzznee. "Can people just learn to stop screaming, 'Get out,' and call the cops. It’s business, the cops have to come." said, @raven_painted.
@Caliheart74 said, "I would have said 'get out' no more than three times, and would have called the cops. Simple as that. I would refuse to engage with her, not even one word until the police got there. Then, I would have laughed as she was dragged out and handcuffed." Regardless of the debates surrounding the term "Karen", the behavior exhibited by the woman in the video is unacceptable. No one has the right to harass and belittle another person, especially someone who is simply doing their job. The woman's behavior is a prime example of entitlement and a lack of self-awareness.
