The professional wrestler showed his displeasure to a tweet reply posted by the Twitter CEO and many on the internet backed him up.
Twitter has become a playground for trolls and meme creators have been long targeting Twitter CEO Elon Musk for his bizarre tweets and the crazy new changes he introduced on the platform. It’s not just the common folks who are dropping hate on Musk for numerous reasons but it’s also celebrities and sports personalities who are actively calling him out. Recently, a professional WWE wrestler Cash Wheeler who had the ring name Dash Wilder went berserk in a tweet reply to Musk. The wrestler didn't seem pleased to see all the changes that the billionaire business mogul has brought on the platform after his takeover.
Musk was possibly going through Twitter replying to random comments with his unfunny jokes when Wheeler decided that he has had enough of it. "Twitter sucks now, man. The timeline sucks. The promoted and targeted ads/tweets suck. The overall functionality of the app sucks. Please stop firing people and then getting roasted. Just shut up a little bit," Wheeler wrote in his tweet.

The whole tweet battle ensued after Musk responded to a tweet from a person who tweeted complaining about the current functionality and the ad targeting of Twitter as the person kept getting ads about bras."It is now over a month of seeing almost exclusively promoted tweets for bras," Nik Kalyani (@techbubble) tweeted. "I am not shopping for bras and I don’t influence anybody’s choice of bras." In response to that, Musk wrote: "So you’re saying you don’t want a bra?"
Please @elonmusk and @Twitter ...make it stop!

Musk might have been hoping that the whole world will empathize with his sense of humor but unfortunately, that did not happen and Wheeler began shredding Musk with his tweet instead. And of course, Musk’s minions were out to defend him and clap back at Wheeler as he even got accused of buying his blue tick. @ferrari8123 wrote in a reply tweet: "Says the person whining while also paying for a blue check." But several people also came in defense of Wheeler stating that Wheeler is a globally known professional wrestler with 300,000 followers. He didn’t 'pay for his blue tick' and many others joined in the comment section too.
What Wheeler wrote is something most of us agree with. Twitter has become increasingly unstable and difficult to use with its record number of outages and glitches since Musk took over. On top of that, the CEO has been under fire for his controversial decisions of mass layoff and introducing Twitter Blue which allows anyone to add a blue tick to their account in exchange for a fee.
According to The Verge, there have been some recent changes to the API policy as well. People are looking at it as another desperate attempt to make Twitter more money as advertisers flee and this is apparently a result of some unstable coding by a single engineer. Ultimately, it caused Twitter users to face tons of issues. Well, we can surely forgive the poor overworked and possibly underpaid engineer for his mistake since Musk laid off thousands of former employees. Let’s hope things get better in the land of Twitter so all of us can access the platform in peace.
