The youngest of five absolutely did not get the assignment even as his siblings tried their best to resist the music.
Videos of cute kids engaged in hilarious antics is always a hit on the internet. Whether they try to act like their parents, say something snarky, or create a ruckus, it is unquestionably hysterical when it comes from these tiny humans.
We have stumbled upon one such video shared by Instagram user @kaoriwright, where we see five adorable kids lined up as they get recorded by their mother Kaori Hansen Wright. The text which appears on the video tells the viewers that it's a "TRY NOT TO DANCE CHALLENGE."
The youngest kid adorably fails the challenge the moment the music starts playing. We see the little guy flinging his sunglasses and cap to the side while swaying to the beat and eventually walking off-screen. By then, his older sisters also start swaying and dancing to the music. The eldest of them all—who had been standing stiff with a little smile on his face and his hands folded across his chest—cannot help himself and finally joins his siblings in the impromptu dance party.
He and his other sister start jumping enthusiastically to the catchy beats. The youngest child, "little Tommy" then makes a comeback on the dance floor—perhaps encouraged by the spike in energy—and joins his elder siblings.
The video has a mashup of popular hits like Barbie Girl and Want You In My Room. The caption on the post read as follows: "Can you listen without dancing? I find it impossible with these tunes. Sometimes after dinner, there's an impromptu dance party at our house. Tonight, I gave the kids the, try not to dance challenge. Little Tommy Hiro is a party king."
Sure enough, little Tommy is the king of the party and the internet seems to agree with it as the comment section got flooded with encouraging words from people.

Another person pointed out how “the older one was moving his ankles and aching until he totally cracked.” One person even lamented how “those were the best days when they used to make tunes like these and they sadly don’t make music like these anymore.”
Well, we might not get the old days back but we surely have the melodies and we can dance to those beats as the kids did. The video has amassed over 112,746 likes and over 2 million views so far and the internet can’t stop gushing about the young boy stealing the show with his dance moves and carefree style.
